The Judgement of the Owls

This is based on a dream. It was just before dawn, and I was running up a hill through a winter forest. I came to the top of the hill, and there was an open area. I looked up to the trees and there were many barn owls looking down. I realized at that moment I had come to receive their decision.
This art was included in the 2012 People’s Gallery Exhibition at Austin City Hall.
